Nail Polish Haul

I had to return something at the salon at JcPenney & got store credit back. I ended up getting 2 classic OPI nail polishes. JCP has a good deal if you buy more than 1 nail polish, the price is $6.00 each instead of $8. I got Bubble Bath which is a nice neutral pink, and Lincoln Park After Dark which is a nice dark plum/wine/black color.

I saw this look on Pinterest, & thought it'd be very easy to do, and ....... ta da! It was. I didn't even have to go out & buy anything, I had the right colors already at home.

1st: I applied my Poshe` base coat.

I JUST started using base coats this year. It really helps if you have a lot of ridges on your nails, and the polish helps fills/evens them out, and also helps your nail color smooth on more evenly & stay longer.

2nd: I applied 2 coats of my OPI nail polish in "so many clowns so little time". You can probably use any variation of this neutral color, or just 1 coat.

This is my FAVE OPI np. It's a good neutral, & it's buildable by applying more coats to increase the depth of color.

3rd: I applied my Revlon sparkle nail polish in "Stunning" on the tips of my nails, as if it's a french manicure. I applied 2 coats for the sparkles to actually show. You don't even have to worry about being neat or aligning the sparkles straight, I just free handed this part.

4th: I applied 1 coat of my Orly "Won't chip" top coat. I LOVE this No chip top coat. I got this at Ulta, & have been using this for the past 2 months, & it lasts for about 2 weeks. It dries within 2 minutes.

This top coat has made me go to my nail salon less. I use to get the no chip manicure once a month, for $25.00 & then a tip. Now I have been going once every 2-3 months just for a clean up & regular np.... And then I add my no chip at home. :)

I'm really obssessed with this look. This pic was from 2 weeks ago, & I just re-did my nails again with this. It's a fun way to dress up neutral colors & wear every day.

Beige color + OPI Shatter = ehhhh

I had an interview at a Jewelry store today(WISH ME LUCK I'M DYING FOR A JOB) so I had to get rid of the hot pinkness, I painted them beige, and added the shatter when I came home. It's nice, but REALLY plain. Usually I like matching things & colors, but bright, neon & pastel colors look better with Shatter. The beige is better by itself

Shout out to Katy Perry's nail polish

Yey to the 1st entry! I can't sleep, way too much sugar today.

I am OBSSESSED with Katy Perry's new nail polish in: Shatter. I plan to wear a new color every week or month. This month for Valentines Day I am wearing a hot pink color by: Sinful Color($1.99) which can be bought @ Walgreens, OPI: Shatter($8.50) which can be bought in Ulta and participating salons, and OPI: top coat($8.50)

To apply:
1.) Apply 1-2 coats of the base until completly dry
2.) Apply only 1 coat of the shatter polish on top of dry base(if you put on top of wet nails it gets funky & won't work)
3.) The shatter drys up REAL freaky fast, & you can apply a top coat if you want to add shine(it looks better)

At first before I bought the nail polish I thought you can only put it with OPI nail polish but it works so far with Sinful Colors, Sally Hansen & Revlon(from the ones I've tried), it works just awsome with other brands!
