I saw these at Forever21! It reminds me of summertime in the 90's. If you are a 90's kid you'll remember these!

Nail Polish from April Ipsy Bag
I usually don't like pink nail polishes, but I love this color! It's a pretty neutral candy pink color. The texture is pretty watery yet slightly creamy. I added 3 coats.

E.L.F. Makeup Brush Cleaner from Target
My new fave Brush Cleaner from e.l.f.! I have a tendency of forgetting to clean my makeup brushes on a weekly basis, so this quick brush cleaner helps. I got this for $3 at Target. Some people use a use a towel to wipe off the dirt and grime, but I use these paper towel cleaner thingies.

Product Review on Ipsy Glam Bag's Mirabella Lip Liner
This is one of the item's in my May Ipsy Glam Bag. If you want to see what I got in my May bag, click here. It seems like everyone gets something a little different in their bag. It will either be a different shade, or a completely different brand of, for example a hair serum. I got a hair serum from NuMe, others may have gotten one from Macadamia Oil. Again I have to say how impressed I am with this month's bag. I received 3 full size items and a sample.
I was pretty excited to try this color. I actually don't have a lip liner, or lipstick in this shade. The name of the color, I am not sure what it is called..... The lip liner just said K19. This is a coral/red/orangey color to me. It's a perfect color for spring and summer.
The color is very pigmented. You can get away with using a little, just for a tint of color, or work with it, and make the depth of the color really bold.
In this pic above and below I added very minimal color. I blended it with my finger with some clear lip balm. I don't have a lipstick in the lip liner shade, so I decided to use it as a lipstick.
In this picture above and below I went to town to see how dark and bold I could get the color. And as you can see, the color gets pretty intense and pigmented the more you apply.
Overall, I liked this lip liner. The quality is nice, the color is very pigmented, and again, it's a full sized item. I feel like this shade can be flattering on all skin tones, except if you have alot of redness going on, on your face. Luckily I didn't today. Sometimes my skin can get red blotchy patches because I have sensitive skin and light eczema. I think I found my spring/summer pop of color lip!

Zoya Nail Polish in Ipsy's Glam Bag for The month of May
I was so excited to get a full sized Zoya nail polish in May's Ipsy Glam bag. The nail polish at Ulta is $8, and my Ipsy bag is $10 a month, so I definitely scored big time. The color I got was labeled "Blu". The color is perfect for spring. Zoya has been one of my favorite nail polishes lately. The texture is really thick, creamy and pigmented. I put on 2 coats.

Target Beauty Haul
I got a $100 gift card for Target from my credit card points, so of course I'm going to try new makeup! Most of it is ELF makeup, which I am excited to try because I've heard so many good things about their new lip products. ELF has been my latest makeup brand to be excited about when I shop at Target. ELF's prices are awesome being always under $5, and most of the things Ive tried so far have been good. I just wish ELF at Target had more different products available in the store, most of the newest is on the ELF website. I will hopefully get pics and reviews soon. I still have to review my Ipsy Glam bag for the month of May. Hope everyone has a good Monday! I am not looking forward to going to work tomorrow..... There needs to be an extra day on the weekend.

My May Ipsy Glam Bag is Here!
Yay! My May Ipsy Glam bag is here, and it's like a mini Christmas. Again, I am impressed and pleased with my items this month. I got 3 full sized items (Zoya nail polish, Juicy Beauty lip gloss, and Mirabella lip liner) and 2 sample size items (NuMe hair serum, and concealer). If you guesstimate the amount of each item's price, it totals well over $10 a month. The nail polish alone is $8, I am guessing the lipgloss is $5-$10, and the lip liner is $5-$10. The only item I am disappointed with is the concealer. The shade is way too light for me. Luckily my sister has fair skin so I gave it to her. The packaging of the sample concealer isn't that great either. You have to keep it in the generic plastic container it comes in, otherwise it would dry out. Sometime this week I will have reviews and pics of each item! If you got the May Ipsy glam bag, what is your favorite item?

NYX Green Concealer Review
I FINALLY got a green primer. I got this at Ulta for $4.99. Green colored primers are good for covering up redness on the face. NYX is one of my fave brands at Ulta. The price is reasonable, and the quality is pretty good. I have ALOT of their lipsticks, blushes, and use their felt tip eyeliner everyday.
I had a couple of red patches on my face, and a pimple on my forehead to cover up. I already put my Estée Lauder BB cream before putting the green primer. I probably could have put the primer on first, and then applied my Concealer and BB cream on top.

Final step! I blended the primer and concealer together with my beauty blender which was sprayed with a little water, set my face with my Smashbox halo powder and ta da! Redness and blotchy skin gone! I'm impressed with this primer, the texture was smooth and easy to blend. My skin looked really even throughout the day as well. I'm not sure what the proper method is of applying green primer, but I found this way pretty effective. If you guys use green primer, how do you use it?

Mini Ulta Haul
I love pore strips. I love the feeling of ripping them off and seeing what your strip has.... Haha I know it's such a weird thing to enjoy.... But hey, I'll admit it! I wish they were a little cheaper though. Luckily I only get these every 3 months, because I think $7.99 for them at Ulta are a bit much to buy every month. Plus, I heard it's not good if you use a pore strip every week because it can strip off the surface of your skin. I've also been wanting a green concealer for when I get redness on my skin or a bad alien pimple. I will have a review with pics up soon of the concealer.
JCPenney Haul
I had to return something at JCP and just got store credit. Luckily they had a good coupon this past weekend- $10 off of $25, which means I didn't pay anything for the items in the pics below! :) Again, I am still impressed with JCP's clothing selection despite all the hoop-la with all the changes going on with the brand. I'd have to say, so far the change has been so far so good. I've had some pretty good luck with their sale and clearance racks.
Color block dress - $14
Rose gold ballet flats - $10
Faux gold, faux amethyst ring - $8

My Latest Thrift Find
I am in LOVE with this necklace! I have been wanting one for awhile. I want it in almost every color. I found this buried treasure in a thrift shop called The Brown Elephant in Andersonville, Chicago. Once a month this thrift store has a corner of designer clothes and jewelry set aside. The Brown Elephant I believe has 2 other locations, one in Oak Park IL, and another location in the city somewhere, but I can't recall. Definitely my new fave thrift spot. If you are in the Chicago land area you must check it out. The Brown Elephant associates said every month on their Facebook page they will announce when they will have their designer corner.

Clear Shampoo Free Sample
I signed up for this offer on Clear Shampoo's Facebook page about a month ago or so. Pretty good freebie package. It came with a 2 week supply of shampoo and conditioner samples, and a $1 off coupon. I really like this sample, which is for color treated hair. It makes my hair more moisturized and less dry feeling. My hair is more damaged than usual because I recently got highlights, so this really helps. I had really bad dandruff this past winter and used their dandruff shampoo, and it really worked! I saw results in a week and a half of using it. The volumizing shampoo........ I'm not a huge fan of. I used it for a couple days when I visited my friend in Orlando, and it felt more moisturizing than volumizing. I might have to give it a second chance, and try it out again. If you want to get free samples like this I suggest you like your favorite brand's Facebook page, usually once in awhile they will have special offers or promos. You can also go to their official website ad sign up for newsletters and special offers. What is your guys's favorite Clear shampoo?
